Clafoutis à La Fourme d’Ambert Print the recipe


  • 3 eggs,
  • 200 g sugar,
  • 130 g flour,
  • 40 cm milk,
  • 80 g butter,
  • 240 g cherry compote,
  • 40 g Fourme d’Ambert
  • 80 g vanilla ice cream
  • Icing sugar.


  1. Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  2. Sift 100 g of flour.
  3. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Add the sugar, salt and flour. Gradually add the melted butter and the milk.
  4. Grease and flour a round stainless steel dish. Pour in the mixture then add the Fourme d’Ambert. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with icing sugar. Spoon the cherry compote and vanilla ice cream over clafoutis.
